Beginning as a sole practitioner with Merrill Lynch in 1987, my focus was on building my client base, providing recommendations for investment opportunities, wealth management, and financial planning to meet specific client goals. As my practice grew I developed and executed training programs for new financial advisors at Merrill Lynch, coaching and mentoring to meet and/or exceed corporate metrics while cultivating a strong work ethic, diligence, patience, and client respect. Concurrently working as the branch manager of the Grosse Pointe, MI office, expanding my practice to a 5 member team of Senior Financial Advisors and support staff, we reached $800 million AUM with an annual business revenue of $7.5 million. By working with 17 Financial Advisors and developing support staff to increase both sales and client satisfaction, the office achieved national recognition for being in the top quintile for FA production in 1998 thruough my retirement in 2018.
